Mos pafsh më kurrë në tokën tënde: gjak dëshmorësh që nuk do të vdesin kurrë, lotë nënash veshur me të zeza, fëmijë, engjëj të palindur, copëtim trojesh nga gjiri yt, mohim gjuhe dhe traditash në vendin tënd, dhunim çnjerëzor në shtëpinë tënde nga armiku, nuse të mbetura vejusha fare të reja pa qumësht në gjoks, pikëllim dhe hidhërim për të gjithë ata që të kthyn krahët. Qofsh gjithmonë e lirë dhe e Pavarur nga askush, paç veç gaz në rrënjët e tua shekullore.

Non vedesti mai più nella tua terra: il sangue di martiri che mai moriranno, le lacrime di madri vestite di nero, figli, angeli ancora non nati, la distruzione delle terre al tuo petto, il negare della tua lingua e delle tradizioni del tuo paese, lo stupro disumano nella tua casa da parte del nemico, le novelle spose rimaste vedove senza il latte materno nei loro seni, dolore e angoscia per tutti coloro che ti voltarono le spalle. Che tu possa essere sempre libera e indipendente da chiunque, e che avesti solo gioia nelle tue radici secolari.
Happy Independence Day Mother Kosovo. You never saw again in your land: the blood of martyrs who will never die, the tears of mothers dressed in black, children, angels yet unborn, the destruction of the land in your breast, the denial of your language and the traditions of your country, the inhuman rape in your home by the enemy, the new brides widowed without mother’s milk in their breasts, Pain and anguish for all those who turned their backs on you. May you always be free and independent of anyone, and that you would only have joy in your secular roots.
